“we live in a rainbow of chaos”
- paul cezanne
Born in the hills of North Georgia, Greer's creative calling brought her to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she found herself most drawn to and inspired by materiality and structure. These interests lead her directly into the SCAD fibers program, where she graduated with a BFA in Fibers focusing on color, material innovation, sustainability, and concept. Greer is a multidisciplinary textile artist and designer using her fine art background to bring meaning and life to product including footwear, apparel, and interiors. She uses mediums such as paint, thread, yarn, and digital processes to create her electrifying work.
The world of art has influenced her in many ways, including interning at SCOPE International Contemporary Art Show as well as working as a Color & Material Designer for Pensole x New Balance Masterclass program. These experiences have been a driving force, serving as inspiration for her to create contemporary art, and being exposed to a wide array of disciplines have only furthered her interests in experimental processes. Greer being a color enthusiast will continue working with material and color development in the industry.
